Protecting the health and well-being of passengers and employees is a priority for Air Nostrum and Europair. That's why the airline has strengthened its hygiene and prevention measures so that everyone can fly with peace of mind.
Prevention measures
At the airport
- Reinforced cleaning procedures for check-in desks and all customer contact points
- New queueing system for check-in and boarding to guarantee social distancing
- Reduced capacity of terminal-to-plane shuttle buses
- Only passengers are allowed to access the terminal, except special cases
- Airport agents may carry out health checks and deny boarding to passengers with covid19-like symptoms
- Airport agents and cabin crew will provide guidance to customers, maintaining the greatest possible distance during boarding and disembarkation
On board
- Reinforced cleaning procedures and special treatment for high-touch surfaces
- Cabin air is renewed continously
- Seat allocation to ensure the maximum distance between passengers, depending on loads
- Mandatory use of face masks to access the aircraft and during the flight (except for children under six years and passengers with medical certificate). Passengers must ensure that they have sufficient stock for the entire journey and take it with them when disembarking.
- Availability of the necessary equipment to apply the protection protocols established by the health authorities in case a passenger with symptoms is detected during the flight
Adapted service
- Suspension of on-board catering and sales services, magazines, children’s notepads, blankets and pillows to reduce contact and therefore the risks
- Online entertainment platform available through passengers’ own mobile devices
- Reinforcement of hand soap in toilet facilities
- Messages from the health authorities about detection, protection and reporting illness
